The current condition of the economy practically goads me to search for ways to earn extra money. I considered quite a few home based business options before deciding on online affiliate programs. My research had led me to decide in favor of affiliate programs based on the following factors:

1. In other businesses I would be alone out there to market my product whereas in affiliate marketing, affiliates would bring in additional free sales. This also comes at no extra cost which basically means I make money online with affiliate programs and get to enjoy it as well!

4. My affiliates bring in huge amount of traffic to my site to check out my product. As a result, I not only get to enjoy the commission from product sales, I also earn extra money from Google ad sense. Since the traffic that my affiliates bring in is entirely free as a result the ad revenue I get makes my experience of making money online with affiliate program even sweeter.

5. The search engines favor sites which have great backlinks. As all my affiliates' websites link to my website, I would automatically enjoy higher search engine rankings. These affiliate sites would not only help me make quick money they would also help me get hundreds of inbound links to my site for free. This would increase

the organic search rankings of my site automatically, and save me some advertising dollars as well as costs for optimizing my site.

6. Yet another good thing about affiliate programs is their rate of growth, which ensures its reputation as the easiest way to make money online. All I would have to do is enlist a few excellent affiliates, who would then enlist others - my network would thus grow exponentially. I would, of course, have to choose the product wisely, for an excellent product would generate the best revenue.
