Best instant coffee has about a couple of hundreds of searches per month while best coffee makers has almost close to ten thousands searches per month. It should come as no surprise that not many people believed that there is such a best in instant coffee.

Most of us would associated instant coffee as a "no choice" solution. You would only drink it when you run out of time to prepare your coffee or there is no good coffee house nearby.

But, do you know that no matter how big you think Starbucks or Bunn or even Tassimo is in coffee sales and production, they are drawfed by instant coffee companies like Nescafe. Nescafe remains to be the largest coffee roaster in the world.

So, while we as coffee lovers might not think very much of the instant coffee, they do have a following and a huge one in fact. And just for your information, about close to 70% of Research and Development monies that are spend in the coffee market are all devoted to instant coffee.

In theory, instant coffee should be a better coffee because of the huge amount of funds that are dedicated to it. Anyway, back to the question if there is such thing as a best instant coffee.

Well, looking for the best in instant coffee is not as straight forward as identifying the best coffee maker where most of the coffee maker ratings would say the same thing. Even in the same company, different brands are being marketed in different regions.

Take Nescafe as an example, while it is huge in Asia and Europe, it scarely has any presence in the US. This is because, it is known by another brand name -Taster's choice. So, the using of different brands in different markets make it difficult to know which is the brand that is most liked by consumers.

That is until I stumbled upon Ciao shopping intelligence. This simple report on best instant coffee says it all. They rank the top 10 most popular instant coffee in UK and out of the 10, 5 of the positions are products

from Nescafe.

Whether a product is good or not, it is best to hear from the consumers. And in this Ciao ratings, consumers rated 5 of Nescafe products in its top 10 as great tasting. This says a lot about the brand Nescafe and it is not difficult to see which instant coffee is the best now, right?

Therefore, there is no clear cut review or ratings to say that which brand is the best instant coffee, but if you search amongst the various coffee reviews, Nescafe would usually come out top and personally, I think they deserves the title as the best...
